Well, don&#8217;t fret – everyone&#8217;s been there before, everyone who is now ripped used to not be ripped and used to not know his or her way around the weight room.  If you&#8217;re interested in getting good, professional advice to develop workouts that will build muscle like that of a bodybuilder, then look no further.  </p>
<p>Always begin each workout with a warm up – that&#8217;s my first bit of million dollar advice.  You&#8217;ll hurt yourself if you don&#8217;t get your muscles limber first.  When you&#8217;re ready though, get a good professional trainer for advice and for on the spot suggestions that can help you perfect your form.  </p>
<p>Here are a few tips and tricks you can use to help boost up your own weightlifting and bodybuilding aspirations.</p>
<p>First of all, you&#8217;ll want to use free weights rather than machines on a more frequent basis.  Machines have their place, don&#8217;t get me wrong, but at least start concentrating on the free weights first.  What this means is focusing on barbells and dumbbells.  When you use free weights like these, it helps not only the muscle group on which you are focusing, but also on those muscles nearby.  Not only that, but it will lead to natural muscle definition all over your body rather than just a lump of muscle in a predictable spot.</p>
<p>Another great method to incorporate into workouts to build muscle is to favor compound exercises over isolation exercises – that is, do exercises that prompt more than one of your joints to move.  Since these types of exercises do use more joints, this means that higher amounts of muscle mass are enabled, which means you&#8217;ll be pushing more weight.  The more weight you lift, the more you&#8217;re going to put on muscle.</p>
<p>Here are some examples for compound exercises: deadlifts, chin ups, dips, barbell presses, bench press, lunges, squatting, and that&#8217;s not all.  There&#8217;s a lot more to choose from, so never let yourself get bored doing any one exercise.  Move that body and you&#8217;ll reap the rewards.</p>
<p>You should always push yourself.  If you sit around and only do what&#8217;s comfortable for you, you&#8217;re never going to gain much of anything.  What you really want are muscles, so always try to do better than you did the last time and you&#8217;ll never disappoint yourself.  What you want are workouts to build muscle, and that&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll get if you always try to go one extra step, each and every time.</p>

What prompts your perception to be more positive or negative?  It&#8217;s simple: your self esteem.  If you don&#8217;t feel good about yourself, then no matter what you do in your life, you&#8217;re never going to find much enjoyment in anything. While self esteem consists of both physical and emotional triggers, let&#8217;s concentrate on the physical side.  If you look like a twig or you have the body of a nine week old kitten, then how on earth are you going to feel good about yourself?  Muscle building workouts will work wonders on your body and help you feel great while at the same time looking great, too!</p>
<p>Muscle building workouts are programs of weight training that seek to grow muscle rather than thin you out or tone the muscle you do have.  It&#8217;s not unusual to gain weight as you go through one of these programs.  Muscle weighs more than fat, first of all, and second, if you&#8217;re getting stronger and building muscle, then of course you&#8217;re going to wind up a bit heavier.  The bulkier you get, the heavier you&#8217;ll get, but rather than fat weight, you&#8217;re going to be boosting your muscle weight.  </p>
<p>Make no mistake, building muscle is not as simple as just heading to the gym and doing a few sets of curls and calling it a day.  To effectively do bodybuilding, you&#8217;re going to need an experienced trainer who can help you craft a routine that will maximize certain muscles on certain days and other muscles on different days. You will need to train your mind to accept your new priorities in life, and start eating healthier food than you were before.  Bodies built from fast food burgers don&#8217;t look good, believe me.</p>
<p>The key to remember is that bodybuilding and muscle building workouts are not simply a program where you start one day and end a few months later.  To build your body into a powerhouse you are going to need to acknowledge that we&#8217;re not just talking about an overnight solution.  You will need to change your life significantly and give yourself the time to adjust to your new life so that you can not only improve your body, but keep it improved.  Muscle building workouts should not be a waste of time, they should be fun and above all else make you feel good about being you</p>

You know you want to jump on a serious exercise plan and start strength training, but proper exercise does not guarantee a healthier (and therefore better looking) body.  What you need is the best muscle building foods you can find.  I&#8217;m going to share my personal favorite with you now – it&#8217;s a delicious salad that&#8217;s pumped up to give you a healthy boost to your weight training methods!</p>
<p>When a lot of people eat salad, they&#8217;re thinking that it&#8217;s low in calories, carbs, and fat.  It&#8217;s healthier for you, right?  Well, not necessarily.  In the case of my salad, it&#8217;s high in pretty much everything that is beneficial to your body, particularly during this time of transformation.  We&#8217;re talking vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and antioxidants.  What&#8217;s the appeal of all this, you ask?  Well, if you provide your body with all the nutrition it requires to hold your hormones at appropriate levels and work at the highest efficiency possibly, of course you&#8217;re going to help your road to musclebound freedom.</p>
<p>It is also hearty enough that it will keep your hunger in check so you won&#8217;t have to deal with any late cravings that will make you start scraping up leftover potato chips from your neighbor&#8217;s garbage can.  </p>
<p>So, without any further delay, let&#8217;s take a look at the recipe of my salad.</p>
<p><strong>The Best Muscle Building Foods Salad</strong></p>
<p>One to two cups of mixed leaf lettuce<br />
One to two cups of spinach leaves\<br />
½ cup of ripe, diced avocado<br />
shredded carrots<br />
2 eggs (diced and hard boiled)<br />
¼ cup of dried cranberries<br />
3 Tbsp of chopped pecans</p>
<p>Top it all off with some homemade dressing.  I use balsamic vinegar, Udo&#8217;s Choice Oil Blend, and extra virgin olive oil.  ¾ of the total dressing liquid should come from the vinegar you use.</p>
<p>Mix all of this together for the most delicious and nutritious salad you&#8217;ve ever tried.  For some extra antioxidants, wash down this bad boy with some green tea with a hint of a natural sweetener such as Stevia, or a little bit of raw honey.</p>
<p>So what are you getting in the best muscle building foods salad?  How about 23 grams of protein, 48 grams of carbs, 12 grams of fibert, 45 grams of fat, and 650 calories?  Sound a little over the top?  Not a problem.  Scale back the portion size to fit your own daily calorie goal.  My own caloric intake is around 3000 calories every day, so if yours is closer to 2000, then by all means reduce the portions.</p>

Bodybuilders have many different techniques and methods of how to increase muscle size, but arguably one of the best and most effective involves super setting.  Have you ever noticed that the really big guys are super setting in their weight lifting?  If you&#8217;re looking to pull off the same look, then you&#8217;re going to need to get started doing some of that on your own, too.</p>
<p>So maybe you&#8217;ve heard of super setting but you&#8217;re not positive about what exactly it is.  A super set is when you do two exercises consecutively (back to back) with no rest in between the two exercises.  There are some variations on the super set model, including antagonistic muscle super set, pre-exhaustion super set, and post-exhaustion super set.  There are more, but we&#8217;ll dedicate our time to these three.</p>
<p><strong>Antagonistic Muscle Building Super Set</strong></p>
<p>When a weightlifter is doing an antagonistic muscle super set, it means he or she is exercising opposite muscle groups, which might sound a little odd at first but keep in mind that the muscles you&#8217;d be exercising would actually be supporting each other while you move.  For example, in one exercise, muscle #1 would be the dominant one, and in the second, muscle #2 would be the dominant one in use.</p>
<p><strong>Pre-Exhaustion Super Set</strong></p>
<p>In this sort of super set, what you&#8217;re doing is trying to work out the same group of muscles with an isolation exercise, followed immediately with a compound exercise.  No rest in between the two is permitted.  For example, if you were to work out with a dumb bell, and then afterward do the bench press, you&#8217;d be doing the pre-exhaustion super set.</p>
<p><strong>Post-Exhaustion Super Set</strong></p>
<p>The final version of the super set we&#8217;ll examine here is the post-exhaustion super set.  This is the opposite of the pre-exhaustion in that you would life the compound exercise first, followed by the isolation exercise, both on the same muscle group.  In other words, you&#8217;d do bench press followed by working with the dumbbells.</p>
<p>It can be incredibly beneficial to alternate methods.  For example, you can do one style of super set for 2 or 3 months, and then switch.  This can help to supersize and increase muscle size in no time!</p>

Though no one under 20 should taking such supplements, if you are of age then you can definitely see some massive differences.  In previous decades, such growth hormone was only able to be taken as an injection.  Nowadays, the whole system&#8217;s softened up a bit and become more reasonable for mass consumption through new and different systems of delivery.</p>
<p>These days, the most popular way to take growth hormone is either through a spray that is sub-lingual, and homeopathic pills that hold Human Growth Hormone secretagogues.  Many people find these to be incredibly useful to sculpt your body in new and excitingly powerful ways.</p>
<p>HGH, the aforementioned Human Growth Hormone, is what regulates protein synthesis, insulin, and moving amino acids through cell membranes and fat metabolism. Obviously, all of these are going to be in quite a demand for most bodybuilders. People who have used HGH have said their energy levels have skyrocketed, their libidos have become enhanced, and their hearts are capable of more work.  The immune system is also improved, blood pressure is lowered and cholesterol maintenance vastly outperforms those not on HGH.  </p>
<p>There have been no negative side effects reported as of this writing when HGH is used as directed, but those under the age of 20 can&#8217;t use such growth hormone boosters without first discussing the matter with a health care worker who knows a lot about HGH therapy.</p>
<p>Now for the catch: HGH is illegal in many countries, so check to make sure it&#8217;s not illegal in yours before starting use.  Also, HGH works by boosting your cells&#8217; abilities to rebuild themselves, which may or may not cause increased risk of advanced cancer, no one knows for sure.  Many people have tried using HGH to combat the negative effects of age, and though temporarily it has seen success with many people, some have become inflicted with severe, advanced cancer and died shortly thereafter.  The HGH use might not have anything to do with it, but we can&#8217;t prove it didn&#8217;t, either – so if you do choose to use HGH, make sure you do so with your doctor knowing about it so that if there are negative side effects, you can combat them and stop usage immediately.</p>
<p>So is HGH the best muscle building supplement out there?  Many would say yes, but there are some unresolved side effects that may or may not result, which are definitely bad enough to give you pause.</p>

<p>It is also important to remember that any good body building routine is not simply the right order and choice of exercise.  You have to take care of yourself if you&#8217;re going to start looking your best.  It&#8217;s a good policy to remember that, more or less, you are what you eat.  If you give your body garbage for fuel, then you are simply not going to perform as well or look as healthy as someone who eats organically.  If you buy a lot of fast food, you&#8217;re going to at best have fast food muscles.  </p>
<p>You have to plan your workouts around what you want to have in terms of results. If you were looking for endurance, you&#8217;d want more repetitions and less weight. What you really want is to build muscles, which means you should focus on doing less repetitions but lifting more weight.  Do more sets, but make sure to give yourself some rest time between each set.</p>
<p>Body building tips are available all over the Internet, but if you&#8217;re looking to get genuine advice about how to turn your body into a powerhouse of lean, mean muscle, then you&#8217;re going to need to look outside your comfort zone and talk to at the very least your doctor and trainer.  Once you have a support system in place, you can start to branch out and figure out what feels right to you personally.</p>

Education can turn things around for you in the long run – and nowhere is this more obvious than exercise and building muscle.  The best way to build muscle, by far, is by doing a few specially picked exercises the correct way than to screw up doing a whole grocery list of exercises.  </p>
<p>So throw out all those old misconceptions about what you have to do to get bigger and stronger.  Starting with a clear mind is one of the best things you can do for yourself, both from the physical and mental aspects of getting healthier.  </p>
<p>Your body, as a physical construct, is essentially just a series of systems that work cooperatively to continue your life in as efficient and healthy a way as possible.  Evolution over the past thousands of years has elaborated the body into the most effective systems as could be done in such a sort time, such that we now can adapt to certain environmental conditions by which we are confronted.  A few examples of this are our abilities to tan when we are confronted with excessive UV rays, the calluses we build on our fingers when we learn to play musical instruments, and the discomfort we feel when we are hungry for food or needing something to drink.</p>
<p>Therefore, if you want to build muscle, you&#8217;ve got to put your body in such a position that it will be battling an exterior resistance on a consistent basis. This will build muscle and make you stronger by effectively faking out our own bodily systems.  Our bodies interpret this resistance as a threat to our ability to survive, and respond appropriately: by becoming bigger and stronger to face the threat and hopefully get rid of it.  Kind of neat, isn&#8217;t it?  The human body is incredibly complicated and simple all at once, and if even one aspect gets out of balance with the rest of our systems, we become ill, we have discomfort, all to alert us that something is not right and we have to change our environment.</p>
<p>In other words, the best way to build muscle while spending less overall time in the gym is to talk to an expert and create an optimum routine that will target your trouble areas and get your body to react appropriately.  It&#8217;s not hard, and if you keep with it any initial pains will start to fade away and you&#8217;ll feel far better than you ever have before you began your exercise.</p>
